Sheena Kanon Leong, an alumna of Osaka University's School of Human Sciences in Japan, is currently pursuing a Master of Public Policy at the University of Tokyo, Japan. She previously served as a recording secretary with the Japan Network of Anti-Corruption Researchers (JANAR) before joining the Asia Africa Forum on Corruption as an associate researcher.

Her research primarily focuses on the nexus between anti-corruption efforts and national security and defense strategies within the East Asian region. She is currently collaborating on a forthcoming White Paper titled "A Multi-Level Exploration of the Disparities between Produced and Consumed Realities in Corruption Metrics". Additionally, she is involved in the publication of the forthcoming Routledge Handbook of Anti-Corruption Research and Practice.
