He is a Certified Integrity Officer with vast experience in anti-corruption, integrity and ethics work spanning over 18 years of developing and implementing anti-corruption strategies, and corruption risk management tools. He spent 12 years at the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) of Zambia as a Senior Corruption Prevention Officer in the Institutional Advisory Unit charged with developing and implementing Integrity/Ethical programmes and conducting Corruption Vulnerability Assessments in both private and public institutions; and three years at the Zambia Revenue Authority (ZRA) as Ethics Manager where he planned, developed and implemented anti-corruption and anti-fraud toolkits, facilitated and undertook numerous integrity training programmes for staff as well as stakeholder engagements on anti-corruption programmes.

Masauso is an accomplished trainer in integrity and anti-corruption programmes as well as gender issues for sustainable development; with adequate exposure in work systems relating to corruption risks in institutions and the awareness of red flags.

He holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Development Studies, and a Diploma in Journalism and Public Relations. His other qualifications include: Post Graduate Certificate in Anti-Corruption Studies from the Hong Kong University; Professional Certificate in Risk and Compliance Management from the University of Lusaka; and is a Certified Integrity Officer Programme at the Malaysia Anti-Corruption Academy among other professional qualifications.

He is the founder and Executive Director of the Centre for Ethics and Public Integrity – Zambia (CEPI-Z) whose focus includes advocacy; public awareness, and training in anti-corruption, integrity and ethical compliance programmes; as well as corruption risk management in both public and private institutions.
